Winchester Model 1895 Theodore Roosevelt 150th Anniversary High Grade Lever Action Rifle, #TR150H1156, .405 Win. cal., 24" barrel, blued barrel and Nitride finished receiver with intricate engraving and gold inlays. Finely checkered deluxe walnut straight grip stock with a Schnabel forend. Right side of the buttstock is inlaid with a gold tone Roosevelt medallion and ends with a smooth blue steel shotgun style buttplate, providing a 13.25" LOP. Sights include a dovetailed brass tipped blade front and semi-buckhorn rear. Factory markings are clear, with sharp Winchester "WP" proof on the left side of the barrel at the breech. Nitride finished engraved receiver displays intricate game scenes on both sides with gold inlay, marked "THEODORE ROOSEVELT 1858-2008 / 150 YEARS FATHER OF CONSERVATION". Includes factory instruction manual, brochure, and associated literature. Mfgd 2008. Rifle is in excellent condition with only modest handling marks to the wood and metal. Action is crisp. Bore is mirror bright with excellent rifling, and appears unfired. Limited in production to 1,000 rifles, featured as a 2008 SHOT Show Special and chambered in Teddys favorite "Big Medicine" caliber.
