Winchester Model 1894 30-30 Rifle.
Serial # 907963 shipped in 1920
Equipped with a 26" Round barrel with original
flat topped rear sight and a blade front sight.
The Receiver has 20-25% bluing which is flaking as per rifles of this vintage.
The barrel retains 80% blueing.
The buttsock has the block letters GRW stamped on the right side. It looks to be burned into the stock using 3/4" Brand. There is also 2 screw holes in the wood on each side of the upper tang. Possibly for an aftermarket receiver sight.
The foreasrm is in very good original condition. The stock finish looks to be original with minor marks on it.
It has a bright shginy bore with prominent rifling.
This is a good example of an 1920's era rifle.
All used rifles must be inspected by a Competent Gunsmith before firing.
