White Lodge was a member of the Wahpekute Band. He was a sharp shooter which was very important to the Nation in holding back enemies from afar, but also for hunting buffalo. The sharp shooters were very important at Little Bighorn as they controlled the battle, starting with White Cow Bull shooting George Custer while he was crossing the river.
