REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Mag. S# 3750. Bbl. 7 1/2" with serrated blade integral to its ramped base; correct frame mounted adjustable rear sight by Micro. Mfg. 1960 (1959-1973) as Model S47 having eagle logo near barrel address (without "INC."). Standard features of wide spur hammer, wide serrated trigger, unfluted counterbored cylinder and Dragoon style grip frame having varnished walnut grips with black eagle medallions. Does not have factory safety update parts; original lockwork. Likely one of the first white boxed Supers shipped after demise of factory that made the mahogany presentation boxes for Ruger. References note about 3,000 white boxes shipped. When the white boxes started, Ruger gave the revolvers a deluxe high polish finish and a reduced price; nice value for the buyers. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: good white box having nice interior. Exterior has 3 bands of packing tape plus "#3750" / "44 mag." / "Sturm Ruger" ink penned on right end of box. Includes customer portion of warranty card marked "3470" with cross outs and "3750" added. Very good multifold manual dated "9/1/59". Missing outer slipcover. CONDITION: all aspects near excellent including bore and grips with correct degree of high gloss finish. (26-1092/NW). CURIO. $1,500-1,750.
