REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Mag. S# 6853. Bbl. 7 1/2" with serrated blade integral to its ramped base; correct frame mounted adjustable rear sight by Micro. Mfg. 1961 (1959-1973) as Model S47 having eagle logo near barrel address (without "INC."). Standard features of wide spur hammer, wide serrated trigger, unfluted counterbored cylinder and Dragoon style grip frame (faint plum hue) having varnished walnut grips with black eagle medallions. Does not have factory safety update parts; original lockwork. White boxed Supers shipped after demise of factory that made the mahogany presentation boxes for Ruger. References note about 3,000 white boxes shipped. When the white boxes started, Ruger gave the revolvers a deluxe high polish finish and a reduced price; nice value for the buyers. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: fair white box having breaks at all corners of base plus tear by hammer on interior cut out. Includes good exterior slipcover having "6853" on long edge plus scuffs on each end. Good multifold manual dated "9/1/59". CONDITION: very slight thinning at high points of frame plus on leading edges of cylinder, ejector housing and at muzzle. Light handling marks on grips. Near excellent bore. (26-1085/NW). CURIO. $1,500-1,750.
