Main Description: Broken blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, blued finish, six Lands and Grooves rifling possibly indicating Remington Manufacture, silver bolt with straight handle, fluted with multiple locking lugs at rear, extractor, ejector are present, action appears to function. One piece full military wood stock, straight grip, smooth steel butt plate stamped US, sling swivels, three barrel bands, stamped with the letter U on the left side, opening faces the muzzle. Has a cleaning rod. Top of bolt stamped Burtons Pat Dec 20th 1869.

Wear: Metal finish shows some light pitting, rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows some marks, scratches and wear.
