MACHINE GUN. Cal. 7.62. S# X95. Bbl. 18" with flash hider. Standard M14 style sights. Rifle is also equipped with a Redfield ARTel 3-9x power scope. Scope has fine crosshair reticle with good optics that are slightly hazy & show some dirt specks. Scope tube shows scattered scuffing & edge wear. This rifle was part of the H&R "Guerilla Gun" program to make the M14 lighter & more compact for a variety of roles such as use in counterinsurgency, CQB & by vehicle crews. This example has had sections of the receiver & mag well removed or trimmed down for lighter weight. Very few Guerilla guns were made & it is believed only 13 were sold as part of an H&R asset reduction program in 1985. Receiver has standard H&R markings with "R14" designation. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock with ventilated green handguard, bottom mounted sling swivels & green canvas GI sling. MAGS: 1-20 rd. BRW made. CONDITION: stock set shows an old shallow chip at toe & some minor handling marks. Metal retains 97% original parkerized finish with light usage & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bright near excellent bore. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT MG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE. (03-2086/MJC). CURIO, CLASS III. $40,000-60,000.
