SEMI AUTO SNIPER RIFLE. Cal. 7.62x51. S# 05681. Bbl. 20" with flash hider. Actual military issued examples of the M110 are very rarely offered on the public market & this rifle represents a great chance the advanced military collector to acquire an original as issued M110 with US government roll markings. Rifle is sighted with a FDE finish Leupold MK4 3.5-10x power scope on a Knight's Armament mount. Scope has mil-dot crosshair reticle, very good optics & Leupold folding caps. Integral front sight. KAC folding rear sight. Lower has ambi controls & Titusville, FL Knight's Armament markings. The AR-10 based M110 has been used by the US military since 2008, as both a sniper & marksman rifle. This weapons system has seen wide spread use in various Middle Eastern conflicts. FDE finish. A2 style pistol grip & adjustable buttstock. KAC URX II quadrail handguard with FDE painted Harris BRM folding bipod. MAGS: 4-10 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching numbered Hardig rifle case with manual, 2014 dated factory test target, CMP certificate of authenticity certifying this rifle is indeed a military issued rifle. Also included is a FOIA document stating this gun was shipped from Picatinny arsenal to the Anniston Army depot in 2014. The document further states that it was later shipped from Anniston to the 355th Logistics Readiness Squadron in 2021 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. It is highly likely this rifle was issued to either Air Force Pararescue, as the 48th Rescue Squadron are stationed at Davis-Monthan or the 355th Security Forces Squadron sniper teams. Present also are an Otis cleaning kit, KAC cleaning kit, military manual, KAC tan scope cover, scope case that is numbered to rifle, one dual 20 rd. mag pouch, two single 20 rd. mag pouches & two single 10 rd. mag pouches. CONDITION: furniture shows light staining, scuffing, handling marks & usage wear, all consistent with a military issued rifle. Metal retains 85-90% FDE finish with most loss on bbl. showing flaking along its edges, further scattered lighter flaking & usage wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Consignor has shot this rifle & states it functions well & is capable of 0.321 MOA at 100 yds. Bright near excellent bore. (26-1015/MJC). MODERN. $40,000-60,000.
