Smith & Wesson Model 34-1 (Model of 1953 22/32 Kit Gun) Double Action Revolver, #M16388, .22 LR cal., 2" pinned barrel, blue finish, smooth Mother-of-Pearl two-piece grips with hand carved steers head on the right panel, serrated ramped blade front sight, adjustable square-notch rear sight, square butt, color case hardened hammer and trigger, with lightly engraved cylinder. Includes a period factory two-piece blue cardboard box with non-matching end label, instruction manual, and warranty card. Mfg'd circa 1969-1971. Revolver is in fine overall condition, retaining approx. 94%-95% blue, with holster wear at the muzzle, thinning and frosting to the backstrap, scattered light handling marks, and a few impressions around the rear sight pin. Cylinder shows leading edge wear, moderate index line, and light aftermarket engraving between the flutes. Grips are near excellent, with an outstanding carved steer on the right side, with gold embossed horns and ring, displaying red crystal eyes. Action functions but is as little stiff and would benefit from thorough cleaning. Bore is bright with well-defined rifling. Est.: $1,000-$1,500. (C&R)
