GENTLEMAN'S SET COLT BUNTLINE SAA REVOLVER BY FEGA MASTER ENGRAVER MIKE DUBBER. Cal. 45 Colt. S# 18562SA. Barrel 12". Originally manufactured 1958 and subsequently Master engraved with painstaking care and attention to detail by the renowned FEGA Master Engraver Michael Dubber. This magnificent set absolutely presents itself as an ensemble for high class society. Revolver is hand engraved in the Cuno Helfricht style of American scroll. The scrolls are detailed in a combination of fine line, single cuts and liner graver. Backgrounds are selectively dot punched or matted. Hammer is engraved in a classic Nimschke style wolf head. Front sight is engraved in matching scroll. Unfluted cylinder is engraved with classic borders and three pairs of large rolling scrolls. Second cylinder is fluted and engraved with alternating flutes of scrolls and geometric style. Front of frame below cylinder pin bears engravers signature in script "Dubber". Revolver fitted with smooth two-piece mother of pearl grips. Full nickel plated finish with "Ink and Bake" backgrounds for contrast. Ejector rod head, cylinder pin, release & screws compliment the nickel finish being an attractive nitre blue.Matching custom knife by A.K. Daniels of Town Creek, AL. Blade is an original A.G. Russel (1933-2018), subsequently completed by Daniels (1943-2017) and commonly referred to as a "Daniels Bowie". Knife measures 9.9" with 5.5" blade. Mother of pearl scales with scroll engraved sterling silver inlays finish this coffin handled knife. Tang & handle have matching American scroll & overlapping feather engraving. Black leather sheath is silver mounted with similarly scroll engraving with .15ct diamond inset into the hilt knob. JCM sterling silver money clip, circa 1890, with scrimshaw mother of pearl inlay. Decorated with matching scroll and serpentine Colt logo. Deluxe custom display case by Jim Hasson constructed of cherry with African black wood inlay & trim. All inner parts are set in French fitted compartments lined with Egyptian green ultra suede. Top of lid is inlaid with saddle weight hand tooled leather insert crafted by Keith Seidel. Inset in center of leather is silver plated Master Plate describing this ensemble. Hidden in the lower compartment of the case, lined with black ultra suede, contains 1976 limited edition, No. 281 of 300 fireside book "Colt Pistols".
