SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 9x19mm. S# D7566. Bbl. 4 9/16". Vis.35 (German designation: "P.35(p)" semi-automatic pistol mfg. at the Radom arsenal while under German occupation during WWII. Left side of the slide is marked "F.B. RADOM VIS Mod.35.Pat.Nr.15567", followed by an eagle firing proof and Steyr Eagle/623 proof, above a Radom Eagle/WaA77 proof and "P.35(p)". Eagle/WaA77 proof is repeated on the left side of the frame, with Steyr Eagle/623 proofs repeated on the left side of the bbl. lug. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered synthetic "FB" (left) and "VIS" (right) grips. Left grip is black, with the right being brown. Rear grip strap is slotted for a stock attachment. Solid shallow matte rib with integral blade front sight and dovetailed V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide (interior), and bbl. (left). MAGS: x2 unproofed blued steel 8-rd. mags. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: correct unmarked black leather holster containing spare mag. CONDITION: frame retains large amounts of its original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild wear, with scattered spots and small patches of light surface oxidation present overall. Grip straps have faded to a brown patina, exhibiting consistent light to mild surface oxidation. Slide had faded to a mottled gray patina, exhibiting scattered spots of light to mild pitting, as well as patches of age related discoloration overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting consistent light pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics, to include the decocker. Decocker is loose, and requires manual resetting after use. Grips show some scattered marks and small chips from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting scattered marks from handling and storage, as well as varying degrees of age related cracking and crazing, but otherwise remains sound. Closure flap exhibits 2 small holes, likely from a previously applied adornment. (26-1512/MLW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
