Standard configuration, 8" barrel, 1-line New York address, ejector mounted on right side, 6-shot rebated cylinder with naval battel scene, conversion ring with integral rear sight, loading gate with external spring numbered 5123, "COLTS / PATENT" on left side of frame, 1-piece varnished walnut grips. Manufactured mid 1870s simultaneous with first single actions. CONDITION: very good overall, complete & original other than replaced wedge screw, retains about 30% nickel finish, good markings, good rolled naval battle cylinder scene, grips retain about 60% original factory varnish.
