Cal. 75. NSN. 50.5" imported English barrel, London proofs, Curly maple full stock, American brass furniture, other than iron front ramrod pipe. Triggerguard has terminating unique "arrow" finial. Wood ramrod has iron tip with worm attached. Consignor states this musket was found in Virginia years ago. Warren Moore shows a similar longarms on pages 73-75 of his 1967 text "Weapons of the American Revolution" made by known colonial armorers. CONDITION: very good overall, original flint configuration, appears complete and matching. Mechanics functional, smooth clear bore. PROVENANCE: William W. Ivey collection. (01-29030/JS).
