PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 601006. Bbl. 3 1/2". Model 1934 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser for the German military during World War II. The left side of the slide is marked with the S# within a milled panel, followed by "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A.N.", with "Cal. 7,65 D.R.P.u.A.P." marked on the right. Sideplate is marked with the Mauser banner logo, with an Eagle/655 above an eagle firing proof marked on the left side of the frame at the rear. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece flat checkered wood wrap around grip. Fixed half-moon blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather holster marked "D.R.G.M." above the Akah logo beneath the closure flap strap. Interior of closure flap exhibits a handwritten "Dr. Wolff" in black ink. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina (primarily on the slide), with some scattered superficial handling marks present overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some light pitting towards the muzzle, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grip is good to very good, showing some scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting wear and scattered marks from handling and storage, with areas of age related cracking and light to mild crazing present overall.
