POWER SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# T243926. Bbl. 4 5/8". High Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Fabrique Nationale and imported into West Germany by Noris in 1968. The left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL - BELGIQUE/ BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE". Right side of the frame is stamped "NORIS", followed by the S#, with Belgian commercial proofing present on the right trigger guard web and right side of the bbl. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the 2-piece bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips. Slide features an external extractor, with a fixed half-moon blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching in the "stacked" fashion and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 1 blued 13-rd. mag. with black enamel finished button type floorplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: page of notes from Charles Wagner, detailing this variation. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some very light edge wear, some spots/areas of light to mild wear on the grip straps, as well as some scattered superficial handling marks present primarily on the slide. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting some spots of grease, while retaining sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Grips show a few superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (25-414/MLW). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
