EXPEDITIONARY RIFLE. Cal. 223. S# HP99001616. Bbl. 20". This rifle, designed by Robinson Armament, based heavily on the Stoner Model 63 system, along w/ all its modularity and potential configurations. It was designed to be configurable as fed from a traditional, bottom located magazine, a top mounted magazine as a "Bren-Type" or even as a belt-feed. It was manufactured from 1999 - 2005 but discontinued due to the high manufacturing cost. But all is not lost to the annals of history quite yet, as in 2019 an internal inventory uncovered a lot of parts from the original project and decided to bring it back in some form. The last official update as of this writing was March, 2020. This example is the rifle configuration. The finish is a matte black w/ black plastic furniture. Protected post front sight. Windage adjustable, dual aperture rear peep sight. Left side charging handle & left side controls. CONDITION: All aspects indicate very little prior use. Finish is complete & consistent w/ no noticeable blemishing. Furniture is in equally as nice condition. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Joe Tavolacci. (26-403/JZ). MODERN. $2,500-3,500.
