SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH STOCK / HOLSTER. Cal. 9x19mm. S# 5CH3799. Bbl. 4 5/8". Mk.I* High Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Canada by Inglis under contract for the Nationalist Chinese military. The left side of the slide is marked "MK. I*" above "BROWNING FN 9MM HP" and "INGLIS CANADA". Right side of the frame is marked with 2 Canadian proofs, with a sole Canadian proof marked on the slide. Left side of the bbl. (at breech) is marked with an "IA CO SAC CA" import mark. Metal components exhibit a parkerized finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Slotted frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips, featuring a lanyard stud and ring on the left side. Thumbprint slide features a dovetailed blade front sight and tangent V-notch rear sight graduated 50-500. All serialized parts are matching in the "stacked" fashion, and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: x2 parkerized 13-rd. split tail mag. with alloy followers marked "JI" on the front of the bodies and on the underside of the floorplates. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wood stock holster marked "S.A. LTD./ 1945" on the left, with a small oval inspection proof on the underside. Metal fittings exhibit a matching parkerized finish overall. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their parkerized finish, exhibiting light to mild edge wear, with consistent light to mild pitting present on the grip straps. Bore exhibits consistent light to mild pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. Stock shows some superficial handling marks, but otherwise remains very good overall. (26-2079/MLW).
