Main Description: The British Purchased around 1000 of these carbines between 200 and 228 reported to be given to Canadian Militia, Reference "Defending the Dominion Canadian Military Rifles 1855 to 1955" By David W. Edgecomb. Right side of stock has Broad arrow WD Stamp. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable two position u notched rear sight, blued round barrel with Approx. 60 percent finish remaining, colour case hardened receiver, lever, back action lock with checkered spur hammer that functions, saddle ring and stud on left side, barrel and wrist of stock have partial US inspector marks. Two piece smooth full military wood stocks, forearm is chipped on right side, straight grip, smooth curved steel butt plate stock cracked and repaired at toe, single barrel band with retainer.

Wear: Metal finish shows light pitting, rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show marks, scratches and wear.
