COL HENDERSON MARRIOTT. This fine Randall made bowie knife was issued to the 5th Special Forces Group in Vietnam, and this particular knife was issued to (then Lieutenant) Henderson Marriott while serving with the 5th Special Forces. This knife was consigned to Poulin Auctions by the original owner and it has never been out of his possession since The Vietnam War. The knife itself measures 14 1/8" overall with a 9" blade marked "RANDALL MADE ORLANDO, FLA " that has a 4 1/2" clipped point. The 3 3/4" brass guard leads to a stacked leather washer waisted grip and is topped by an aluminum pommel crowned by a steel nut. The original leather scabbard has its stone intact. The reverse is marked "RANDALL MADE KNIVES ORLANDO, FLA.". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: paperwork relating to Lt. Marriott's service and Special Forces Certificates of Service from Vietnam. Also include is a photo of Lt. Marriott with famous 5th Special Forces "mascot", Martha Raye (Colonel Maggie) while in country. CONDITION: knife shows light use and no abuse.
