One of 50 EMF/Uberti Texas Sesquicentennial 1836-1986 Single Action Army Revolver with Belt Buckle and Display Case, #TX17, .45 Colt cal., 4.6" barrel, blue and gold plated finish, smooth etched faux ivory two-piece grips, blade front sight, fixed square-notch rear sight; gold plated hammer, trigger, straps, ejector rod, and trigger guard. Barrel with gold embossed rings at the muzzle and breech, marked "TEXAS SESQUICENTENNIAL" (Texas in gold). Cylinder displays gold rings at the front and rear with a gold star circled by "REPUBLIC OF TEXAS". Import marked on the underside of the barrel with Italian proofs, marked "MADE IN ITALY". Includes a beautiful oak and glass presentation case marked "1836 TEXAS 1986 / Sesquicentennial". Right corner features a brass plaque marked "#17 of 50 / MFG. 1985". Case is in excellent condition with only minor storage marks. Interior of the case is finished in maroon velveteen and includes a magnificent gold plated official commemorative belt buckle, marked "STATE OF TEXAS SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION 1836-1986", with enameled red, white, and blue Texas flag banner across the front, numbered to the revolver. Revolver is in excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 99%+ finish, and appearing unfired. Grips are in excellent condition, with a machine etched longhorn steer on the left panel.
