WITH SOFT CASE. Cal. 410 GA. S# 49662. Bbl. 12 1/4". Single shot break action Handy Gun mfg. by Harrington & Richardson between 1921-1934. Left side of the frame is marked "H.&R. "HANDY GUN" ", with H&R's 2-line address marked on the right. Top of the bbl. is marked "MADE IN U.S.A. 410 GA. CHOKE". Frame and forearm iron exhibit a case colored finish, with the bbl., bbl. lever, and trigger guard exhibiting a blue finish. 1-piece checkered wood grip with plain wood forearm. Raised brass bead front sight with frame U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame (top of frame tang and left side beneath grip), bbl., as well as the forearm (interior). UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: contemporary black leather soft case with shoulder strap. CONDITION: frame retains large amounts of its original case colored finish, exhibiting some areas of wear that are fading to gray patina, scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some light surface oxidation and spots of age related discoloration overall. Right side of frame exhibits a few small impressions. Bbl. retains the vast majority of its original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear and some minor superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting several small streaks of hardened grease towards the muzzle. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows some superficial marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. Leather soft case is very good overall.
