Langenhan F.L. Selbstlader Model I Self-Loading Semi-Automatic Pistol, #23705, .32 ACP cal., 4" barrel, blue finish, checkered hard rubber two-piece grips with "FL" monogram, blade front sight, fixed "V"-notch rear sight, fire blued small parts, with one unmarked 8-round blue steel magazine. Factory markings are clear, with German "N/(crown)" proofs on right side of the frame and slide. No visible import marks. Mfgd 1914-1917. Pistol is in very good overall condition, retaining approx. 85%-88% thinning blue finish, with holster wear at the muzzle, showing even edgewear along the frame and slide. Right side shows where a prior owner has carved their initials, which were later aggressively removed to bare metal. Grips are good with general smoothing. Action functions well. Bore is good, showing use, with clearly defined rifling. The Langenhan was a simple blow back pistol modeled after the FN 1900, produced for only three years, with approx. 55,000 pistols produced for use by the German military and police during WWI. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R/PPT)
