1) Remington Rolling Block Forager Shotgun. NSN. Bbl. 32". Bead front sight. Bbl. is unmarked. Last patent date on upper tang is March, 1874. Metal inventory tag present on triggerguard. Walnut stock set. CONDITION: stock set has older added finish with some light chipping, dings, scratches & handling marks. Metal is a dull gray patina with some light pitting, scattered handling marks, edge wear & oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore shows scattered pitting with a heavier area towards muzzle. (01-26710/MJC). ANTIQUE.
2) Spanish Rolling Block Shotgun. NSN. Bbl. 35 1/2". Bead front sight. Bbl. has illegible Spanish maker name & "16" marking. Checkered hardwood stock & plain forend with loose key. Bottom mounted sling swivels. Forend appears to be a poorly fitted replacement. CONDITION: refinished stock set shows a repaired crack through checkering, a few other smaller cracks, scattered scratches, dings, finish wear & handling marks. Metal is a dull gray patina with scattered oxidation, pitting, dings & some tool marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Pitted bore. PROVENANCE: From the PMRB Collection. (25-5898/MJC).
