Lot consists of 5 Luger stocks and holsters, including: 1) German WWI brown leather LP.08 Luger holster. Holster is marked LIEFRUNGSVERBAND/ DER SATTLERMEISTER/ HALLE A/S./ 1916" on the interior of the closure flap. Belt loops on rear have been removed at one time. Complete with wood flat board shoulder stock marked "GERMANY" on one side. Leather stock strap is a contemporary replacement. Rear of holster and side of stock are fitted with velcro patches. CONDITION: holster remains remains relatively malleable, exhibiting scattered marks from handling and storage, with areas of age related cracking and crazing present predominately on the closure flap and strap. Loading tool pouches' closure flap exhibits a large hole and a tear. Stock has been sanded and refinished, with metal fittings having been professionally refinished at one time. 2) Brown leather LP.08 "Artillery Luger" commercial holster. Front of closure flap is stamped "GERMANY", with "KERN, KLAGER/ * Cie./ NEU-ULM" marked on the rear. Holster contains a cleaning rod. Complete with imperially proofed flat board shoulder stock, the leather strap stamped "GERMANY" on the rear. CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting moderate age related cracking and some crazing on the body, with scattered handling marks and spots of crazing present overall. Stock is very good, with leather fittings remaining malleable. Steel stock hardware has been refinished at one time. 3) Bavarian WWI brown leather LP.08 holster. Interior of closure flap is marked "LIEFERUNGSGENOUSE (remainder of line illegible)/ DER/ SATTLER/ NURNBERG/ 1918. Rear of holster is marked "32" above a Crown/III proof, corresponding to the Bavarian 3rd Army Corps. Holster contains a cleaning rod and imperially marked loading tool. Holster is complete with an unmarked wood shoulder stock with proper leather fittings. Leather stock iron cover is marked "MAURY & COO/ OFFENBACH A/M./ 1915". CONDITION: holster remains malleable, exhibiting some mild exterior wear and superficial handling marks, with age related cracking present on the closure flap. Stock shows some marks from handling and storage, with leather fittings showing age related cracking and crazing. Stock's steel hardware has been refinished at one time. 4) Luger carbine stock. Wood construction with steel iron assembly and sling stud / swivel assembly. Stock features wrap around checkering, with a horn buttplate. Iron is faintly numbered "896". CONDITION: stock shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a repair present on the toeline, stemming from the sling stud. Buttplate is good, with some scattered chips at toe. Stock iron and lever have been refinished at one time. 5) An extremely unusual custom made stock / holster combination, consisting of a partially hollow wood stock with a Swiss P'06/29 pattern brown leather holster. Sling is marked with a boxed Swiss Federal Cross above "Sch", mfg. markings "R. STREIT/ BERN", and 2-digit year of mfg. "32". Holster is affixed to the stock via 3 rivets. CONDITION: holster shows light to mild general overall wear, with some light age related cracking and crazing. Sling shows light to mild age related cracking and crazing. Stock shows some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. Stock iron is poorly fit and exhibits a reapplied blue finish.
