PISTOLS. 1) Cal. 380 ACP. S# 29690. Bbl. 3 3/4". Model 1908 Hammerless semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1916. Left side of the slide is marked with Colt's patent and mfg. information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the muzzle and chamber area of the bbl., which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece "COLT" checkered brown hard rubber grips. Standard fixed half-moon blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Slide is unnumbered. Mag. is absent. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some patches/areas of light to mild wear and thinning that are fading to gray patina, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation and some superficial handling marks overall. Bright bore, exhibiting streaks of light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Muzzle exhibits a ding on the crown. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some light smoothing and superficial handling marks, with the right panel exhibiting a crack that runs the width of the panel through the screw slot. (25-5373/MLW). 2) Cal. 380 Hammerless. S# 115981. Bbl. 3 3/4". Model 1908 Hammerless semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1934. Left side of the slide is marked with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall, save for on the muzzle and chamber areas of the bbl., which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Standard fixed half-moon blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Slide matches the frame via the full S# on the interior. MAGS: x1 blued steel reproduction 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting scattered spots and patches of light to mild surface oxidation and pitting overall. Relatively bright bore, exhibiting consistent light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics.
