Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). S# 268250. Mfg. 1905. There were only 131 of these rare Bisley Flattop Target revolvers mfg in 32-20. This example was shipped by itself to Seattle Hardware Co., Seattle, WA fitted with a 7 1/2" bbl in June of 1905. The bbl has a pinned blade front sight, 1-line Hartford address, & "(BISLEY MODEL) 32 WCF" on the left side. The U notch fixed rear sight is dovetailed in the top of the flat top Bisley frame. The frame has standard 2-line patent markings next to the Rampant Colt within a circle. Checkered wide spur target hammer and target trigger. Colt 2-piece hard rubber grips numbered "3117" in pencil on underside. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt Letter confirming the configuration and shipped info provided. CONDITION: Overall fine. The bbl retains 90% of its orig blue with some muzzle wear with small pinprick oxidation and a couple of light scratches. Frame retains 90% of the original thinning blue with some mild fine pinprick oxidation. The cylinder has 85% thinning original finish with a light dragline and thinning on the high edges. Trigger has traces of the fire blue in the protected areas. The backstrap finish has mostly faded from hand wear with the original finish remaining on the butt and behind the hammer. The trigger guard strap has 50% of the original blue with the majority in the hand area worn. The hammer has traces of vivid case colors remaining in the protected areas. Grips are good with light hand wear and a couple of light dings. Lightly frosted bore with nice rifling. (26-1996/ZAL) CURIO $5000-8000
