LC Smith No2 Grade Side by Side 12 ga Shotgun by Hunter Arms
1904 L.C. Smith Hunter Arms Grade 2e 12 GA 30 inch F/F Side by Side Double Barrel Shotgun
Chambered to take up to 2 3/4 inch Shells.
The history of the L.C. Smith firearms is that L. C. Smith formed a partnership with L. H. Smith and
W.H. Baker to manufacture a three-barrel gun in 1879. L.C. Smith took over the company in 1880
and in 1884 began manufacturing hammer shotguns.
Smith became interested in a new-fangled invention called the typewriter, and sold the company in
1888 to John Hunter.
The L.C. Smith shotguns MANUFACTURED by Hunter Arms went on to become some of the highest
quality shotguns made in the United States.
This an L.C. Smith shotgun made by Hunter Arms in 1904. This one has wonderful game scenes on
the lockplate, a quail scene on the left plate and a duck scene on the right plate.
This shotgun is a beautiful nice old L.C. Smith that would make a great addition to almost any
collection. In the USA these guns are routinely seen for sale over the $2000 ....

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a bead fixed to the rib above the muzzles. The top of the rib is
textured to help reduce glare.
Weight: 7 lbs, 10.8 oz.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered wood featuring a splinter
forend, a capped semi-pistol grip, a straight comb and a aftermarket Limbsaver butt pad. The walnut
stocks almost MINT with only one small mark found on the finish. The ebony tip is mint.
The checkering is strong.The LOP measures 13 1/2 inch from the fronts of the trigger to the back of
the buttplate. The stocks are in excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bore. Bore rates a 9.8 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The screw heads are
well-defined. The markings are clear.
Overall, this shotgun is in excellent as original condition except for the after markey recoil pad..
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrel lockup is tight with no play to the receiver.

When shipping is required for any purchase an additional charge will occur the day the item has been shipped. We ship mainly at cost via Canada Post. We aim to have items out the door within 15 business days after auction close.
Please note that due to restrictions we will ship all Ammunition by courier Canada wide - No ammo can be shipped outside of Canada.. We will use whatever coourier serves your location and is the least expensive....
We are NOT responsible for damage during shipping. We don't guarantee delivery times and will not refund shipping charges for parcels that are not delivered by a specific date.
Items over $200 will be insured and a signature 18+ is required (unless under $200 or going by letter mail).
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON LOTS THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP TO YOU.
Shipping charges will be determined after preparation as we need to pack, weigh and measure each box. Your credit card will be charged this amount before the parcel leaves.

Our Consignors are paid based on the hammer price. We will attempt to charge your credit card partial amounts until the amount is paid in full. Any purchase which has not been fully paid may be forfieted. There will be no refund of partial payments. CANADIAN BIDDERS: Firearms, Magazuines and Ammunition purchasers require a valid P.A.L. (Possession and Acquisition License). All restricted and prohibited firearms are registered with the Canadian Firearms Program and will be transferred to the purchaser following the completion of the sale and receipt of full payment provided the purchaser has the correct licensing documents.. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to determine that they have the correct category of license for the intended purchase prior to bidding. You will require a P.A.L. for all Prohibited/Restricted/Non-Restricted category firearms. No P.A.L. is required for Antique category firearms.
Ammunition and Firearms must be shipped to an address on file with the CFO. Ammunition and Firearms cannot be shipped in the same box.
Ammunition will now be shipped exclusively with UPS. We must ship Ammunition to your address on file with the CFO. Please ensure that you have a UPS delivery agent in your area prior to bidding, as UPS does not cover all rural areas. We do not ship ammunition to the USA.
Any items that are purchased that we are not able to deliver/ or you don’t have a valid license to possess will be sold at the next opportunity, any money paid by buyer will be forfieted..
As we are selling Firearms and Ammunition it is imperative that bidders/customers provide us their correct information. We require your full correct name as shown on your PAL, PAL number, date of birth, the mailing address that is associated with your PAL.
U.S.A./INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:
Please be advised that we cannot ship any sort of firearm directly to USA or International buyers. Buyers must use a third-party exporter for these items.
We cannot ship receivers, ammunition, primers, magazines, primed brass, air guns or grenades to USA or International buyers. These cannot be shipped by us or an exporter. Do not bid on these items.

You have sole responsibility for your purchases. You and or your importing FFL will be required to file paperwork with BATF in order to be able to import an item. Please check with your FFL and/or BATF regarding import of specific items. Not all firearms are able to be imported/exported into the USA. Note that any items that have been purchased but are deemed not importable/exportable will be forfited and no refunds will be given.
You have sole responsibility for your purchases. Please check with your governing body and Borderview to ensure your intended purchase is importable, as well as the third party exporter to ensure they will be able to export to your country, this should be done prior to bidding. Not all firearms are able to be imported/exported Internationally.
If you are unable to complete the transaction within 6 months, the lots will be sold at the next auction. Any monies paid will be forieted.

BUYERS PREMIUM & TAXES: All items purchased online are subject to a 14% buyers premium. Canadian Taxes will be charged at the rate applicable to the shipping destination. All Firearms and Ammunition are sold as Collector lots only. Fitness to fire or otherwise discharge the Firearm or Ammunition is expressly denied by KOS Auctions. A competent Gunsmith should be consulted before attempting to use or fire any Firearm or Ammunition. The Purchaser expressly acknowledges and agrees that in no event shall KOS Auctions or its associated companies be liable for any damages including without limitation any compensatory, incidental or consequential damages.
The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. If we sell firearms that have been previously de-activated by others, these may not meet current or exportable standards. Firearms de-activated by others may or may not have a de-activation letter available. We are not able to search for letters for firearms de-activated by others.
