DOUBLE/SINGLE TRAP GUN. Cal. 12 Ga. 2 3/4". S# 24739. The 2 bbl. sets, 30" dbls. & 34" singles trap, are ported & fitted with raised ventilated ribs & interchangeable choke tubes. Both bbl. sets have Krieghoff nomenclature on bottoms of monoblocs. Singles bbl. is serial number 20484. Dbls. bbls. are unnumbered. Singles bbl. has front of rib adj. for point of impact & a 1/2" rising block is added. Both are fitted with green glow worm front sights. Case hardened K80 action is engraved in factory "Parcour" style with relief engraved scenes on sides flanked by scroll at corners. Left side depicts an eagle about to capture a leaping trout while right side has a scene of three geese in marsh. Bottom of action is marked "K-80" "KRIEGHOFF" "Germany". Action is fitted with usual non-automatic safety & single selective trigger with blade adj. for position. Buttstock of nicely marbled European walnut is fitted with "Kick-eez" adj. pad, adj. comb, & has right hand palm swell on extreme, checkered pistol grip. Matching semi beavertail forend has usual Krieghoff Deeley type release. WEIGHT (DBLS): 9 lb. 5 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: comes with black plastic case. CONDITION: fine, showing considerable use, but no abuse. Bbls. retaining over 90% original blue. Singles bbl. showing the most use with considerable marks & scratches from forend installation & remnants of silicone caulking with attachment of rib raising block. Action retains nearly all of its chrome plate with some lifting around bottom. Stocks retain nearly all of their original finish with some areas worn through on adj. comb. Checkering shows considerable wear, especially at grip. There are some fairly deep marks in curve of grip and a 1 1/2" stress crack behind top tang which does not flex. There are also two small screw holes at bottom of grip. Forend wood is in better condition & is most likely a later, well matched replacement. Bores are bright & shiny, without noted problems. Mechanically good. Ejectors are slightly out of time. (23-203/MGM). MODERN. $5,000-8,000.
