Japanese "Last Ditch" Type 14 Nambu Semi-Automatic Pistol, #72152, 8x22mm Nambu cal., 4.6" barrel, blued finish, grooved hardwood grips, dovetailed inverted-"V" front sight, and fixed rear sight with "U"-notched groove. Includes on aluminum based blued magazine with a cut out for the magazine retention spring. Spine is stamped "(dot)965". Pistol is marked on left side of the frame with four characters for "Type 14", right side Nagoya Arsenal makers mark and a second series "ro" character over a "Sho" character and "20.7" for manufacture in July 1945, with no final acceptance stamp. No serial number visible on bolt or trigger. No import marks. Condition overall is good, retaining less than 50% blue, with brown toning and patina across the surfaces. Grips are good with scattered handling marks and impressions to the darkened finish, with a chip missing from the lower left side. Action operates smoothly. Bore is bright with very good rifling.
