SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Glisenti. S# 1378i. Bbl. 3 3/4". Glisenti Model 1910 semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Italy by FAB (Fabbrica Armi Brescia). Right side of the frame is marked with a small "TM" within an oval, followed by a crowned "FAB/ 1910" within a circle. Top of the bbl. extension exhibits an unidentified monogram above a "RV" proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the trigger and bolt, which exhibit what appears to be a nickel plated finish. Left side of the frame is mounted with a checkered wood grip, with the right side being mounted with a checkered black synthetic grip. Disassembly tool is absent beneath the left grip panel. Fixed blade front sight, with fixed V-notch rear sight, and checkered grip safety. Matching numbers are present on the frame, sideplate (interior), trigger, grip safety bar, bbl., bbl. extension, and bolt. MAGS: 1 7-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some spots/areas of light to mild wear and thinning, some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light to mild pitting overall. Bbl. exhibits concentrated areas of dark oxidation and moderate pitting on the front sight band. Nickel plated parts show some small spots of bubbling and flaking, but otherwise are very good overall. Very bright bore, exhibiting consistent light to mild pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing, as well as some scattered marks from handling and storage, with the wood grip exhibiting a crack at the top and bottom of the panel. (25-2359/MLW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
