SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH STOCK & AFTERMARKET HOLSTER. Cal. 9mm. S# 7020b. Bbl. 5 7/8". P.08 Navy Luger semi-automatic pistol mfg. by DWM under contract for the Imperial German Navy. Left side of the bbl. extension is marked with a naval crown proof, followed by 2 naval Crown/M proofs, with a sole Crown/M on the underside of the bbl. and sole naval crown proof marked on the left side of the breechblock. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall. Strawed parts have been cleaned and are in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Dovetailed blade front sight with 2-position navy V-notch rear sight. Most serialized parts are matching and include the frame, takedown lever, sideplate, trigger, safety lever & bar, bbl. bbl. extension, breechblock, and toggles. Trigger bar is mismatched via "33". MAGS: x1 non-matching 8-rd. with Crown/M proof concentric circle wood plug. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: non-matching sanded and refinished wood shoulder stock with Interarms brown leather holster. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild edge wear, scattered superficial handling marks and spots of oxidation, as well as some scattered spots of pitting beneath the finish. In-the-white parts show some scattered spots of pitting. Relatively bright bore, exhibiting consistent light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some smoothing, but otherwise remain sound. Stock exhibits some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a notable chip present on the upper right edge at the butt. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting scattered handling marks overall. (26-2227/MLW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
