Hungarian Mosin Nagant M48 / 52 Bolt Action Rifle - Made in 1952 c/w Bayonet

The 1952 Hungarian Mosin-Nagant is a cold war-era bolt-action military rifle produced by the state
arsenal FEG (Femaru Fegyver es Gepgyar) in Budapest, Hungary.

This Hungarian 48.M Rifle is an exact copy of the Soviet Mosin-Nagant M91/30.
.

Caliber: 7.62x54mmR (rimmed)
with a Magazine Capacity of 5 rounds.
Factory Markings are quite clear and shown in pictires - The 02 is a state factory code stamp and a
circle B for Budapest on the bolt. Matched numbers on bolt and receiver..

Comes with Bayonet.

Overall condition is 9/10 - Appears gun is hardly used. Bore is excellent are all metal surfaces.
Wood stock is hardly marked and has no serious blemishes.

Production began at FEG in 1950, with a total of 213,990 91/30 type rifles made by 1954. Of these,
4,100 were made into snipers according to Hungarian government sources (400 in 1952 and 3700 in
1953). The production was set up with Soviet assistance, and the rifles were exact copies of the
Soviet pattern – and many were eventually repaired using Soviet-made parts, since they all
interchange.
