Firearm rear wood stock shows a tiny chip on the upper right forward side of the tang and a tiny chip the rear of the upper tang. There is a small hairline crack on either side of the lower part of the stock by the trigger area. There is light finish wear in areas. Aside from that the rear stock shows dings, scratches, small gouges. Butt plate shows some dents and finish wear. Forearm stock shows lightly worn checkering, finish wear, some light dents; upper fitment against barrel part of the forearm shows few small chips, dents. Condition of the stock is good.
Metal shows bluing on the barrel shows small speck of light rust, patina in certain areas, there are also light fine handling marks such as scratches and scuffs with light finish wear. Barrel to receiver fitment is still firm and good. There is a Holland & Holland Ltd logo with C Grade marking near the breech between the barrels on the rib & all factory markings are present at the Chamber flats also showing matching serial numbers. Receiver shows light scratches, dings, small patina specks. Holland & Holland Ltd markings are present on either side. On the water table show the matching serial numbers and No.3. Condition of metal is very good. Bores are shiny and smooth; condition is excellent.
Firearm comes in a beautiful case for 30" barrels with Holland & Holland paper trade label inside. It is complete with all dividers and a leather holding strap. The lid is fitted with its original brass spring catch- No key. Case shows the wears of time; there are scratches, scrapes, scuffs, small tears in seams and covering materials. Condition is good for age.
Included in the case are: nickel oil bottle, cleaning rods with handles, tips and full length bore mops.

Gun has not been test fired or inspected by a gunsmith. All guns are sold “As Is”. We do not clean guns and recommend a thorough cleaning before use. You Must send us copies of front and back of your PAL and Driver’s License if you are having your firearms shipped to you.

Your items are available for pickup on the Wednesday following the sale for a period of two weeks. Please email cs@landsboroughauctions.com to make alternate arrangements.

A $5.00 per item per day will be charged on items not picked up beyond the two-week period following our auction.
Shipping Details:
A prerequisite of our auction is to select your preference to pick up or have items shipped. We will honour your selection. Items will be shipped together when possible. Shipping charges are determined after items have been packaged and weighed. There will be $15.00 per package handling charge. Specific items cannot be or will not be shipped (for example black powder or very large or expensive-to-ship items).
All items are sent by Canada Post or Purolator Courier depending on location, size of parcel and regulations.
Items will be insured and a signature required.
We ship ammunition ONLY within Canada. Ammunition and firearms are shipped separately.
Dangerous goods (ammunition, powder, muzzle loading ignition, primers and compressed gases) will be shipped by Purolator. We require a physical address as Purolator does not deliver to P.O. boxes. Please note we can only use Purolator for ammo and their costs will be more expensive than in the past. Purolator and UPS are the only option for shipping ammunition in Canada.

In Canada, a valid P.A.L. (possession and acquisition license) is required to acquire firearms and ammunition. Firearm registration applies to all restricted and prohibited firearms purchased within Canada. All restricted and prohibited firearms will have their transfer started on auction day. USA and International bidders have sole responsibility for their purchases and a $40.00 administrative fee is applied on all firearms sales. If purchased items cannot be imported, the items will be sold at the next available auction. Consignment commissions are applicable on the resale. Please note that we do not ship ammunition outside Canada.
