WINCHESTER 1885 LOW WALL SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). S# 33061. Bbl 28" half octagonal No. 2 weight. Bead front sight with sporting rear sight. Case colored action with a single set trigger. Ebony tipped Schnabel forearm and straight grip stock of fancy walnut with crescent steel buttplate. Mfg. 1889. CONDITION: bbl retains over 90% bright original blue showing light carry and muzzle wear with scattered small handling marks. Receiver retains 90% vivid original case colors. Lever and lower tang have 30% fading case colors. Buttplate has largely faded to gray. Wood finish shows light wear with scattered light scratches and marks. Stock has hairline cracks behind top tang. Sound action and trigger. Bore is generally bright with lightly worn rifling. (01-28384/DS). ANTIQUE. $4,000-6,000.
