Fine group of superior primitive/frontier knives originally displayed together with unique American flare.1) 15" overall, 9.25" double edged dagger point blade, 4" "S" shaped iron crossguard, pewter mounted curly maple handle, leather sheath 2" longer than blade. 2) 13" overall, 8.5" dagger point blade, maple handle, sculpted brass crossguard and brass pinned pommel cap. 3) 9.5" dagger, 3.5" "S" crossguard, brass mounted curly maple handle. 4) 9" skinner, 5" blade "F. WILSON", tacked wood slab grip. 5) 15" unique massive .4" thick forged integral bolster crossguard, brass pinned sculpted wood slab handles. 6) Maple re-mounted razor, heavy 4" "T. ASHER / SHEFFIELD" blade. CONDITION: very good overall, good patina and surfaces, blades worn with staining and pitting. PROVENANCE: estate collection of Compton LaBauve, Jr. (02-26484/JS).
