This lot consists of the following German MG related items: 1) WWI German MG 08 machine gun qualification sleeve patch exhibiting a two-piece gilded Maxim machine on the front with a lead backing marked "C.E. JUNCKER / BERLIN / ALTE JACOBSTR.13". 2) lead award medal depicting a German soldier using an MG 08 machine gun on the front and marked "PREISRICHTEN / 1935 / 5. PREIS" on the rear; 3) bronze award medal depicting a German soldier using an MG 08 machine gun on the front and marked "PREISRICHTEN / 1934 / 6. PREIS / 6. INF.-REGT." on the rear; 4) silver award medal depicting a German soldier using an MG 08 machine gun on the front and marked "PREISRICHTEN / 1931 / 2. PREIS / 19. INF. REGT. / 12. (M.G.) KOMP." on the rear. 5) bronze medal with an impression of Franz Joseph I on the front by R. Neuberger with the rear showing an impression of French soldiers on the battlefield, a woman with laurel leaves above, and a date of 1914 below by A. Hartig. 6) A silver ring with an MG08 between the words "WELT KRIEG". 7) An original 1930's NS machine gun doctrine/MG08 manual. 8) Six framed WW1 MG crew photos. 9) A small photo album that appears to be from the early NS period of a German MG crew mostly in training or guard duty with MG08's & Kar 98B rifles. 10) An Imperial photo album with varied artwork & photos mostly of MG crews. 11) A 1936 dated NS photo album of the MG company from the 37th Infantry regiment. 12) Another photo album that has mostly Imperial MG photos with some German Civil War & Weimar period photos as well. 13) Gold plated WW1 MG badge without felt backing. 14) Three WW1 era MG08/MG manuals. 15) A 1917 dated German army paybook. Three varied photos two are of Weimar/early NS MG crews & the last of Hiram Maxim and is autographed by him and dated "10 Feb 1900". 16) A 1918 dated Iron Cross Certificate for a member of the MG company of the 138th Imperial German Infantry regiment. 17) US Machine Gun Banner.
