Flobert Cadet Single Shot Musket, #9354, .32 RF cal., 29" round barrel, blue finish. Smooth hardwood one-piece full-length straight grip stock with barrel bands, sling swivels, cleaning rod (missing the tip), and ending with a smooth steel buttplate. Barleycorn blade front sight with a fixed V-notch rear sight. There are "N" proofs along the left side of the barrel at the breech. Mfg'd in the late 19th century. Musket is in very good condition as professionally restored, retaining approx. 96%-97% of an old, quality reblued finish, showing surface rust at the muzzle with intermittent marks and scratches along the barrel. Finish on the trigger guard and tang shows thinning finish and some light surface rust. Stock with scattered light indentations, hairline crack at the left side of the wrist, and repair on the right side. Buttplate shows pitting under the finish and is proud around the perimeter. Action functions well. Bore is fair with moderate erosion and defined rifling. Est.: $200-$400. (Antique)
