AKM-47S UNDERFOLDER WITH BAYONET. Cal. 7.62x39mm. S# M8502796. Bbl. 16". A classic AKM-47S under folder carbine as originally imported by Sile of NY. NY., converted to select fire by Fleming Firearms. Blued finish on exterior metal surfaces w/ the classic orange tinted hardwood furniture. Threaded muzzle is sporting a slanted muzzle brake. Hooded post front sight. The gas block doubles as a bayonet lug & secure point for under barrel cleaning rod. Tangent rear sight, adjustable from 100-800 meters. Rich bluing on receiver, marked "SILE NY. NY." on bottom. Marked on left side trunnion w/ "416" in triangle, indicating Chinese State Arsenal 416 manufacture point and serial number. Below trunnion, on receiver it is marked as follows: "AKM-47S / SEMI AUTO / 7.62x30MM". Top of trunnion, inside receiver, obscured by top cover marked: "FLEMING FIREARMS". Right side safety selector w/ S-A-F markings. Top cover has integral dovetail scope base, w/ thumb set screw to minimize movement. Currently sporting Red Star 4x20 scope w/ duplex reticle. Under-folding steel shoulder stock w/ folding shoulder piece, designed to fit snugly below action when folded. Left side sling swivels, currently sporting tan canvas sling. NFA paperwork indicates "Form 2 Registration" in Manufacturer / Importer section. MAGS: 1 steel 30 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Bayonet & scabbard. CONDITION: Finish complete & consistent w/ some thinning, primarily in areas of mechanical intervention. Wood exhibits some typical impressions, remaining in the finer category of examples handled by this cataloger. Bright bore w/ strong rifling.
