GUN.Cal. 9mm. S# 25279. Bbl. 7 7/8". Blade front sight. Flip up rear sight. Bolt parts are mismatched but other visible parts are matching to receiver. The MP18 was used by the German army in the closing stages of the Great War & continued to be used by varied Weimar police units in the interwar period. Mag well is updated for box mags & marked "S.B.848" for Berlin police. Left side of tube has Theodor Bergmann markings & has police added manual safety. Front of mag well has CG Haenel markings. Left rear of bbl. shroud is missing a set screw. Arsenal rework blued finish. NFA paperwork list mfr. as form 2 Registration. Beech stock set with faint Imperial inspection stamps, bottom mounted sling swivels & leather sling. MAGS: 1-20 rd. CG Haenel marked "PTV" with police Starburst. Mag has X'd out Berlin police marking that does not match mag well marking. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework appearance with a minor chip forming behind action, the expected scattered dings & handling marks of an issued arm. Metal retains 92% arsenal rework blue with some edge wear, a few areas of light oxidation, some blued over pitting & light handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
