Cal. 410 GA. S# 52695. Bbl. 12 1/4". Handy gun single shot break action shotgun mfg. by Harrington & Richardson between 1921-1934. The top of the bbl. is marked "MADE IN U.S.A.410 GA. CHOKE". Left side of the receiver is marked "H.&R. "HANDY GUN" ", with H&R's 2-line address marked on the right. Frame, hammer, trigger, and forearm iron exhibit a case colored finish, with the bbl., bbl. lever, and swept tang trigger guard exhibiting a blue finish. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece checkered wood grip and a plain wood forearm. Raised brass bead front sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame (top of receiver tang and left side beneath grip), bbl., as well as the forearm (interior). CONDITION: frame, trigger, hammer, and forearm iron retain the majority of their original vibrant case colored finish, exhibiting some light wear and fading, some spots of age related discoloration, as well as some superficial handling marks overall. Forearm iron has acquired a slightly darkened appearance. Blued parts are ensuite, retaining the majority of their original factory finish, exhibiting few spots of light wear, with a few scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Bbl. exhibits several scratches around the muzzle area. Mirror bore. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows some superficial marks and small/minor impressions, but otherwise remains very good and present nicely. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH.
