PISTOL. Cal. 56. NSN. 17" overall, 10.75" tapered and flared barrel with swirl decorated breech, flat beveled pointed tail lock engraved maker under pan "I ULRICH MA", unsupported serpentine cock and unbridled frizzen. The pistol is totally brass mounted with en suite unique relief cast lined decoration, mounted on fine burl, nicely carved mouldings and decoration. CONDITION: very good to fine overall, uncleaned iron patina, good markings, brass has light mustard patina. Stock has wrist crack repair and overall hand word patina, old varnish, mechanics fine, clear smooth bore. PROVENANCE: William W. Ivey collection. (01-29036/JS). ANTIQUE. $3,000-4,000.
