Right barrel is marked "v.Proeck" and left barrel is marked "Falkensee". Action has dual underlug plus Greener crossbolt lockup, with cocking indicators for all three barrels; safety is external, double triggers are adjustable. Extensive receiver engraving consists of antlered game scenes surrounded by scroll floral designs. Checkered splinter forend and pistol grip buttstock are straight grain European walnut. Stock with cheek rest, horn trigger guard, storage for four cartridges, and horn buttplate; LOP is 13.9" to the front trigger. Mfgd Pre-WWII. Cracks have developed on both sides of the stock tang at approx. the mid-point, starting where the stock and receiver meet and extending back.
