Early Belgian Browning Safari Grade FN Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #7L44181, 7mm Rem. Mag. cal., 24" barrel, with blue finish. Magazine base plate and trigger guard display light engraving with gold infill. Finely checkered walnut one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivel studs, crossbolts, and cheekpiece. Buttstock ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 13.6" LOP. Sights include a hooded ramped blade front and adjustable "U"-notched rear. Receiver is drilled and tapped with two-piece scope bases. Bolt is in the white with matching serial number. Factory markings are clear, with "MADE IN BELGIUM" on right side of the barrel, Belgian proofs on the left side. Mfg’d 1967. Rifle is in near fine overall condition, receiver shows saltwood corrosion below stock line, retaining approx. 97%-98% toning factory finish, with light wear at the muzzle and minor handling marks. Stock is in near excellent condition with scattered minor indentations and light scratches. Two cross bolts show engraved screw heads, both with light surface rust.
