HI POWER SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH MATCHING BROWNING SOFT CASE. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 76C15543. Bbl. 4 5/8". Hi Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale and imported by Browning Arms Company in 1976. Left side of the slide is marked with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM". Right side of the forward trigger guard web and right side of the bbl. lug exhibit Belgian commercial proofs. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the 2-piece bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece varnished checkered wood grips, which feature red anti-moisture barrier paint on the interior of the panels. Slide features an external extractor, with a fixed half-moon blade front sight, and dovetailed square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 phosphate 13-rd., with blued button type floorplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Browning black leather soft case, retaining its original tag on the exterior, that matches via the full S#, which is handwritten in pen. Soft case contains a vintage Browning manual. CONDITION: extremely fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting few minute superficial handling marks overall. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent overall. Soft case is very good to excellent, with the tag showing some age related fading.
