75TH ANNIVERSARY "KARABINER" LUGER CARBINE SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH CASE & ACCESSORIES. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# K094 von 250. Bbl. 11 3/4". 1 of only 250 "Karabiner" Luger semi-automatic pistols mfg. by Mauser in 1979, commemorating the Model 1902 Luger carbine. The bbl. extension is marked with the Mauser family's crest over the top of the chamber, with "FBM" within a Mauser banner logo on the left (repeated on left side frame rail), and with the S#, followed by the Interarms' starburst logo and importer information marked on the right. Toggle is marked with the intertwined DWM monogram logo in gold within a matte oval panel. Left side of the frame is marked "75 Jahre/ Parabellum - Pistole/ Mod. Karabiner" in gold characters within a matte rectangular panel, with "Mauser-Werke Oberndorf GMBH" on the front grip strap, and "Made in Germany" marked on the rear (above the lanyard loop). Top of the bbl. is marked "9mm Luger". Metal components exhibit a dual-tone polished and matte blue finish, with some small parts including the bbl. wedge, takedown lever, trigger, checkered mag. release button, safety lever, ejector, rear toggle pin, and grip screws exhibiting a straw finish. Checkered wood schnabel tipped forearm with sling stud and loop mounted on the underside. Frame is mounted 2-piece checkered wood grips. Dovetailed ramped blade front sight with 3-position carbine pattern rear sight. Frame features a grip safety. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame and bbl. extension. Forearm is matching via "094", which is stamped on the interior, with the rear toggle link matching via "094", which is electro-penciled on the underside. (This example is considered a Curio & Relic, as listed on page 43 the BATF's 2025 Curio & Relics List and is exempt from the provision of the NFA) MAGS: x1 blued steel 8-rd. with wood plug. Spine of mag. is stamped "7" towards the feed lips, with the Mauser banner logo present towards the plug. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: red leather wrapped case with brass fittings and unsigned riveted brass plaque on lid. Green felt lined interior with red leather pouch on lid featuring the Mauser banner logo in gold. Case contains its brass cleaning rod, brush, matching green "wax" stamp tag, and the matching buttstock. Buttstock is matching on the lug, as well as on the toeline via an oblong German silver plate that is inlaid to the rear of the sling loop. Interior lid pouch contains its matching warranty card, as well as its matching factory paper test target. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall, with some light wear present on the stock lug from prior attachment. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Checkered wood forearm and grips are excellent, with a few diamonds exhibiting some smoothing on the bottom left edge of the left panel. Buttstock is good, showing scattered marks and some small impressions from handling and storage, with a notable chip present at the toe that extends to the buttplate. Exterior of case shows some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise is very good overall. A seldom offered Original Mauser "Karabiner" Luger Carbine.
