. Cal. 6.5mm. S# 42386. Bbl. 19 1/4". Blade front sight with protective ears. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2000m. Bolt handle is matching to receiver, likely arsenal renumbered to match but other visible parts have mixed numbers. First variation bayonet housing & folding spike bayonet. Receiver ring has light grind mark across mum & T44 markings. Left side of receiver has Tokyo Arsenal symbol. Arsenal blue finish. Asian hardwood tock with left side sling swivels. Underside of butt has strong Kanji stamps. CONDITION: stock set retains strong Urushi finish with a few gouges, a couple thin cracks on front end, finish loss, some chipping, scattered black staining, dings, handling marks & usage wear. Metal retains 60% arsenal blue with scattered oxidation, fading to gray, edge wear & some light pitting. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bore with some light frosting but strong rifling. (26-43/MJC). CURIO. $1,200-1,600.
