EAGLE LUGER WITH IDEAL GRIPS & STOCK. Cal. 30 Luger. S#2120. Bbl: 4 3/4". Model 1900 American Eagle Luger semi-automatic pistol mfg. by DWM for commercial sales within the U.S. The bbl. extension is marked with the Great Seal of the United States over the top of the chamber, with the intertwined "DWM" monogram marked on the forward toggle link. Left side of the bbl. is stamped with a Swiss Federal Cross proof towards the breech. Front of frame is stamped "GERMANY" below the S#. Metal components exhibit a rust blue finish overall, with some small parts including the takedown lever, trigger, mag. release button, checkered safety lever, extractor, ejector, and anti-rebound arm/latch exhibiting a straw finish. Toggle pins, trigger bar spring, and grip screws exhibit a nitre blue finish. Left side of the frame is properly polished in-the-white at the safety lever's "fire" position. Frame is mounted with 2-piece smooth wood and steel Ideal grips. Dovetailed blade front sight with standard fixed V-notch rear sight. Dished toggle ears, with aforementioned anti-rebound latch. All serialized parts are matching in the "hidden" commercial fashion, and include the frame, takedown lever (right side), sideplate, trigger, grip safety, bbl., bbl. extension, breechblock, forward toggle link (interior), and rear toggle link. MAGS: x1 plated 8-rd. with wood plug. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: a rare Ideal shoulder stock / holster. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting scattered patches and areas of light to mild wear and thinning that are fading to brown patinas, with scattered spots of light to mild edge wear that are fading to gray patina. Strawed parts retain large amounts of their finish, exhibiting some light wear and thinning that shows through to gray patina. Very bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots of light pitting and light to mild pitting concentrated towards the breech, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Ideal grips show some superficial marks and impressions, with otherwise remain sound. Ideal stock retains good amounts of its original blue finish, showing scattered spots of wear, thinning, and flaking that show through to gray and brown patinas, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation present overall. Leather holster remains malleable and completely intact, showing some superficial handling marks, light crazing on contact points, as well as a couple of small spots of age related cracking.
