Three crated WW2 era British PIAT (Projector, Infantry, Anti-Tank) launchers in what appears to be a Greek crate. Three springs are also present one for each launcher. The PIAT is known for its unique cocking mechanism & lack of back blast. PIATs were used notably during WW2 with six Commonwealth soldiers awarded Victoria Crosses for actions with PIATs. The PIAT is exempted from the provisions of the NFA per Section III of the ATF's C&R list. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: one inert drill projectile. CONDITION: launchers retain most of their green paint but show scattered flaking, oxidation & the expected age related wear. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH. (02-26749/MJC). $4000-6000.
