WITH TASCO 1860 SCOPE. Cal. 45 Rifled. S# 0032834. Bbl. 31 7/8". Percussion plains rifle mfg. by Connecticut Valley Arms. Left quarter flat of the octagonal bbl. is marked ".45 Cal.", followed by "Connecticut Valley Arms, Inc./ Black Powder Only", and "MADE IN U.S.A.". Steel lockplate, hammer, trigger guard, ramrod pipes, and buttplate exhibit a browned finish. 1-piece plain wood straight grip stock features a German silver patchbox and a pewter nose cap. Dovetailed German silver blade front sight with dovetailed steel square notch rear sight. Bbl. is drilled and tapped, featuring a 32 1/4" brass Tasco 1860 Replica 4x15 scope, complete with threaded brass lens covers. Rifle is complete with its aluminum tipped hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: metal components retain virtually all of their original factory browned finish, exhibiting some very light edge wear on the bbl. Bright bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics, to include the double set trigger. Stock shows a few minor superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains very good overall. Scope retains a clear optic, with the crosshair having been slightly bent. (01-28215/MLW). ANTIQUE. $300-500.
