OLD ARMY REVOLVERS. BOTH: Cal. 45 (.457"). Barrels are factory 7 1/2" having blued pinned ramped serrated blades on ramped bases; rear sights are factory adjustable. Made 1975 (first year for stainless Old Army) with total stainless model production 1975-2008. Both unusual because serial numbers don't have the typical Ruger prefix; 1975-1976. Underside of barrels adjacent to loading levers are signed and dated ("78" & "1978"). Standard Ruger wood grips with silver eagle medallions. Super Blackhawk style wide serrated triggers and Blackhawk configured stainless grip frames. Each has a different motif; western and southern with particulars listed for each. Renowned engraver M. W. Dubber started engraving in 1969 with a massive amount of credits to his name to include multiple Howard Dove awards. Past president of FEGA and editor of The Engraver Magazine for 10 years. Masters Degrees in Fine Arts from Indiana State Univ. and noted instructor including for Colt Master Engravers. He has a stellar list of accomplishments.
